Lesson Policies

Lessons and Packages. Each private lessons is 45 minutes in duration (except the one-time 30-minute Intro Lesson for new students). Groups lessons vary. Private lesson and group lesson packages must be used within 6 months of purchase. Unused lessons will not be refunded. Packages may be given as gifts, but once started are non-transferable.
24 Hour Cancellation and Late Arrivals. Please provide me with at least 24 hours notice if you need to cancel or reschedule your private lesson. Any private lesson cancelled less than 24 hours in advance will be charged 100% of the lesson price. Late arrivals generally will not be offered extended time. If you are more than 15 minutes late, your lesson may be cancelled without further notice.
Drug/Alcohol Policy. For your own safety and mine, please do not engage in dance lessons while legally intoxicated or under the influence of illegal drugs.
Health/Fitness and Assumption of Risk. Although moderate dancing is safe for most people, there are risks of physical injury inherent to dancing. You should always consult with your physician before beginning any exercise program, including dancing, or changing your physical activity patterns, particularly if you have been inactive, are very overweight, or have or suspect any sort of medical condition that might be worsened by exercise. You, the student(s), being fully informed of the risks of dancing, expressly agree to assume all risk associated with your dance lessons and to hold me, Carolyn Barreno, harmless for any injuries or damages sustained by you while engaging in dance lessons.
Binding Agreement. These Lesson Policies set forth legally binding terms and conditions. By continuing to participate in dance lessons with me, you agree to be bound by these Lesson Policies. If you do not agree to any of these Lesson Policies, please discontinue your dance lessons.
